Housing Advocacy Team (HAT) is a part of MANNA, an affordable housing non-profit located in Washington DC.
The Housing Advocacy Team (HAT) is a diverse group of individuals committed to ensuring the availability of affordable housing in Washington D.C.
- Education and Organizing: Educating and organizing our community about policies that affect affordable housing, through outreach and community events
- Advocacy and Public Policy: Advocating to DC government to support public policy that advances affordable housing causes and additional resources throughout our communities
- Homeownership: We value homeownership as a source of personal and community-wide stability. It helps families build wealth, and enables them to become financially mobile.
- The Continuum of Housing: We promote the continuum of affordable housing, which encompasses a full range of housing options from supportive housing for the homeless to affordable homeownership…
