Manna’s Housing Advocacy Team presents “What is Affordable Housing?” This film explores a mix of views on and experiences with affordable housing in Washington, DC, and tends to be heavy on homeownership, which is one type of housing along the continuum of affordable housing. Those interviewed include college students, native Washingtonians, renters, homeowners, lenders, housing developers, realtors and more. We hope as you watch it that you see the ways we are all connected to this issue.
“What is Affordable Housing?” Tour
On May 30, 2015, Manna’s Housing Advocacy Team hosted a tour of different types of housing, from transitional housing to affordable rental to affordable homeownership. Participants met with residents in their homes and learned how people have been and continue to be able to move up through different types of housing over time. Read more about this tour at http://hatdc.org/?p=2050.
